Exp\u00e9rience avec le gouvernement du Canada<\/h3>\n

En tant que diplomate canadien, j’ai travaill\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis, en Europe, en Asie, en Afrique, dans les Cara\u00efbes et au Canada bien s\u00fbr. \u00c0 travers mon travail, j’ai eu le grand privil\u00e8ge de fr\u00e9quenter des personnes de toutes les cultures, religions, professions et couches sociales. Mon exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 g\u00e9rer des programmes d’immigration (travailleurs, \u00e9tudiants, visiteurs, immigrants \u00e9conomiques, r\u00e9unification familiale, r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, cas humanitaire) s’est traduite par des dizaines de milliers de d\u00e9cisions rendues. \u00c0 Ottawa, mes divers r\u00f4les op\u00e9rationnels et strat\u00e9giques au sein du minist\u00e8re des Affaires mondiales et du minist\u00e8re de l’Immigration et de la Citoyennet\u00e9 (notamment en tant que conseiller principal aupr\u00e8s du ministre de l’Immigration), m’ont donn\u00e9 une exp\u00e9rience exceptionnelle des m\u00e9canismes d\u00e9cisionnels et des enjeux de la bureaucratie de l’immigration.<\/p>\n

Dans le secteur priv\u00e9, j\u2019ai eu l’honneur d’occuper des postes de direction en immigration aupr\u00e8s du Cirque du Soleil, la plus grande entreprise de divertissement au monde, et de Technicolor Canada, Inc., le chef de file mondial des effets visuels pour l\u2019industrie du cin\u00e9ma et de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision. Mes mandats au sein de ces grandes entreprises consistaient \u00e0 \u00e9laborer et \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer des syst\u00e8mes de gestion des cas d’immigration, des protocoles de conformit\u00e9 et de gestion des risques, ainsi qu’\u00e0 concevoir des processus de travail rentables et efficaces afin de garantir des exp\u00e9riences sans heurts aux fronti\u00e8res et la d\u00e9livrance de permis de travail \u00e0 des milliers d’employ\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Mes exp\u00e9riences de travail ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 ma philosophie de gestion, soit que ceux et celles qui interagissent avec une bureaucratie devraient s’attendre \u00e0 vivre cette interaction de fa\u00e7on humaine. Les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9rig\u00e9s pour livrer des services (qu’il s’agit de services gouvernementaux ou de services offerts \u00e0 des employ\u00e9s ou des clients) doivent toujours servir l’humain et jamais le contraire. On doit de s’attendre que notre syst\u00e8me d’immigration traitre toute personne avec dignit\u00e9, respect et en tout \u00e9quit\u00e9. Pour moi, le tout se r\u00e9sume par un seul objectif, de vous accompagner en tant qu’individu et toujours de bien vous servir. R\u00e9ussir un projet d’immigration de fa\u00e7on honn\u00eate n’est possible que s’il existe une relation de confiance. Et la confiance se b\u00e2tit en \u00e9tant \u00e0 l’\u00e9coute et transparent en rapport avec sur tous les aspects du processus d’immigration.<\/p>\n
